The Special Issue is aimed at investigating metallic material modeling techniques for multiphysics virtual prototypes, with an emphasis on both the theoretical aspects and experimental identification and verification. The selected papers cover a wide rage of topics spanning from additive manufacturing, to metal forming, continuous casting, thermal treatment of metals and joining techniques.
